TV is changing. Between DVRs and streaming services like Netflix, fans now have all new ways to enjoy their favorite shows. Meanwhile, limited run series like Sherlock and anthology programs like American Horror Story are breaking all the rules regarding what people have come to expect from our shows. Now canceled series 24 and Heroes are both coming back from the dead to take advantage of the new order. There have even been rumors of reviving the former Fox series, Firefly, starring Castle’s Nathan Fillion.

Firefly fans rejoice. All of your favorite Brown Coasts might be coming back to the small screen. Firefly writer and producer Tim Minear recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about possibly bringing the series back for a limited run, although to be fair, the entire series of the show was really a limited run:
“I would never foreclose the possibility. The fact that it was even a feature film after it spectacularly failed on Fox was a miracle. And of course it lives on in other forms. In terms of getting the band back together to make a new adventure, who knows? I would love it. It would be great. But first everybody has their respective projects that limits them from crossing over into other things. It’s just trying to coordinate everybody’s obligations so they could somehow participate.”
